Check out our app!

Guess what? We created an app, and it's totally free! It's called Travel Pal and it is the last app you will need to download for all of your travel needs.

To start I'll explain the features. The first thing you'll notice is the incredibly easy interface. With voice activation it makes finding what you need as easy as saying it. You will be able to look up maps, see interesting places and restaurants, keep track of your tickets, and it even has a translator. Using the map you will be able to plan out exactly where you can go so you don't miss out on anything. Next we have reviews of thousands of restaurants around the world and you will be able to post your own reviews as well. Finally the translator is as easy as taking a picture. Just point and shoot and our app will translate it to English or many other languages, so no more trying to figure out those foreign menus.
Our map

Travel Pal will launch on Tuesday so make sure you have enough room on your memory so you can download it before all of your friends. This app will make you travels incredibly less stressful and will lead to a more enjoyable trip.

Movember

As many of you know Movember is in full swing. For those of you who may not know about Movember it is where men don't shave for the entire month of November in support of men's health. A lot of men tend to not really keep up with taking care of themselves so this month is all about spreading awareness and attempting to make men healthier.

In support of Movember JT Executive Excursions is bringing a group of amateur beard growers and their family to Leogang, Austria for the World Beard and Moustache Championships. Here you will see a wide range of styles for beards as well as a beautiful setting for it to be held. Leogang is a quiet mountain town buried deep in the Alps so you will be able to concentrate on making that beard perfect. For those non bearded there is still plenty to do and see in Leogang.

Your Competition

We here at JT Executive Excursions want to make sure all our customers stay healthy and keep traveling, so be sure to make an appointment with your physician for a physical. You won't be able to see the world from a hospital bed so take care of yourself.

Enter to win

This week we are sending two lucky couples to a weekend getaway in Jamaica. To enter all you need to submit is your name, phone number, address, and a short essay on why you deserve the trip. Our panel of experts will review your submissions and decide by next week who won. This will be the easiest vacation of your life. We will cover airfare, hotel rooms, and any activities you would like to do. If you would just like to sit on the beach for 3 days we have you covered there as well. We wish everyone luck, but only a few will win.

Top 5 Paris Locations

So for our next trip we will be going to beautiful Paris, France. It is by far one of my favorite places to visit. There is so many great sights to see, wine to drink, and food to eat. There is a stigma that Parisians dislike tourists but that couldn't be further from the truth. As long as you show respect to their culture they will give it back in return. I have composed a quick list of the top 5 locations you must see when visiting Pairs.

Palace of Versailles
5. Versailles- Located right outside of Paris the Palace of Versailles is one you can't miss. This palace housed the King of France in the 17th century and it really is fit for a king. The attention to detail is breathtaking inside and out.

Arc de Triomphe
4. Arc de Triomphe- By far the most famous road in the world the Arc de Triomphe was erected to honor Napoleon's great victories. There is constant traffic surrounding it so the only way to get up close is though a tunnel that goes under the highway.

The Louvre
3. The Louvre- Housing Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, this museum is one to see. Built in 1793 it was a product of the French Revolution. The lines may be long but it is totally worth the wait.

Notre Dame de Paris
2. Notre Dame de Paris- This cathedral was built over hundreds of years which only adds to the awe inspiring sight that it is. Notre Dame is a perfect example of French-Gothic architecture. The best part about visiting Notre Dame is the fact that you can enter for free, which is perfect since Paris can get quite expensive.

Eiffel Tower
1. Eiffel Tower- There is no doubt this is the most memorable sight to see in Paris. Towering at 81 stories high it is definitely a hike getting to the top, but it is well worth the effort. Originally built as a radio tower the Parisians protested it fully. Eventually it became a symbol for the city.

Hong Kong

As many of you know October is national breast cancer awareness month. In support of this our company is prepared to donate 10 percent of our total profits this month to the Breast Cancer Society. Many of us have family members or friends who have struggled with cancer, and we feel that this is the best way to give back and help. We hope that with your help we can make a difference.

Our next scheduled trip is to Hong Kong. This is our first time going to Asia so we couldn't be more excited. Since we are so excited we have composed a Top 5 list of food in Kong Kong.

Congee

5. Congee-This dish is very similar to grits or cream of wheat, except for the fact it is made from rice instead of corn or wheat. It is usually served for breakfast like its western cousins. Congee can be flavored with pork, fish, or veggies.

Eggette

4. Eggette- Hong Kong's favorite street food. It is essentially a waffle ball. The name comes from the way the waffle looks like eggs stuck together. They are served both hot and cold but we suggest getting them hot because its just so much better.

Wife cakes
3. Wife Cakes- The story behind these little cakes is definitely strange but they are just so tasty. The story goes that in order to buy medicine for her dying father a woman sold herself into slavery. After hearing this her husband started making these little pastries with wintermelon inside in her memory. These cakes ended up becoming so popular he was able to buy his wife back with the profits.

Char siu Pork

2. Char siu Pork- Crispy fried pork....need I say more?

Dim Sum
1. Dim Sum- The quintessential Hong Kong food. Dim Sum is typically a lunch time food, although its eaten at breakfast as well. Dim Sum is the act of steaming dumplings in little baskets, so you can find any type of flavor inside. Some popular styles are fried pork and veggie dumplings. Many restaurants serve Dim Sum, but you can also find it on the street brought to you by Dim Sum carts.
